Vet, farrier, medications/vaccinations administered, or supplements added are additional. Board includes 14' x 14' stall, twice-daily feedings of grain, alfalfa and fresh water, and daily turn-out.

All mares arriving at Penn Ridge must meet the following requirements prior to arrival at the farm. Any mare who cannot meet all the requirements will not be allowed to unload from the trailer.

  • Penn Ridge Farms weanlings at playA Mare Information Form completely filled out and sent to Penn Ridge Farms at least 5 days prior to arrival of mare.
  • Penn Ridge Farms Boarding Contract completed.
  • Negative Coggins within the last 12 months.
  • Current Health Certificate within the last 30 days.
  • List of current vaccinations verified by your veterinarian. All vaccinations must be administered at least 14 days prior to arrival on farm. Penn Ridge Farms requires the following vaccinations: Eastern/Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, Influenza, Rhinopneumonitis, West Nile, and Streptococcus Equi (Strangles). We recommend following the AAEP vaccination guidelines.
  • Wormed within 30 days of arrival.
  • Negative uterine culture for all maiden and barren mares.
  • Mares should be in general good health upon arrival.

24-hour notice required for arrival or departure of horses.
Payment in full required at time of departure.
